Kristi Barrow
Founder & Director
Kristi has been active in the marketing space for the past 7 years with various marketing roles at SingTel Optus and Expedia. Most recently, Kristi held the position of Marketing Director, Australia & New Zealand at Expedia Inc. the world’s leading online travel company. At Expedia, Kristi was responsible for all aspects of marketing in including Online, offline, PR and sponsorship.
Kristi has extensive experience in online marketing: search engine marketing (SEM), serach engine optimisation (SEO), affiliate marketing, email and display advertising, having been responsible for a sizeable multi-million dollar marketing budget at Expedia for Australia and New Zealand. Her achivements include:
- Exceeded sales targets by 38%, profit targets by 51% and increased marketing efficiency by 18% in 2007
- Developed Marketing analytics framework to monitor and maximise ROI
- Managed successful Online display advertising campaign to challenging ROI targets, resulting in increased budgets in 2007 of 100% and in 2008 of 150%
- Negotiated Expedia’s first partnership deal in Australia with Ninemsn in 2007, followed by Yahoo! In 2008
- Managed successful SEM campaign in 2007 incorporating global Expedia best practices to exceed sales targets by25%, whilst maintaining efficiency
Prior to joining Expedia Australia, Kristi held various marketing roles at Optus, where she received the Optus Business Hero Award in 2003, the highest non-sales staff award for the Optus Business Division.
Kristi holds an MBA degree from the Australian Graduate School of Management (University of New South Wales), a BE(Civil) from the Unviversity of Sydney and is a Certified Practising Marketer (CPM) of the Australian Marketing Institute.
